Primary Research - New investigations into something (questionnaires etc)
Secondary Research - Investigations made by others that you refer to (using information from magazines Media Packs found on the Internet)
In order to research my chosen genre I have tried to research magazines but have had no such luck finding any real magazines except for Q which occasionally has Pop artists.
In order to research existing magazines, I have searched for Magazines Media Pack's, they are really helpful as they do show how many people read and advertisments prices. I have also looked at a couple of magazines (even though they aren't exactly the same genre, they are still helpful) pages and covers, I looked at the styles and maybe in the future try to 'borrow' the styles and adapt them to suit my genre.
In order to investigate my target audience's needs and desires, I have created a questionnaire for people to fill out in their own time, I asked useful questions in order to get the results I need to suit my magazine to suit peoples 'needs'.
In order to conduct better primary research, I need to maybe finish ,my questionnaire and add more questions that help me get my design and input to my magazine.
To be able to make more secure decisions about my magazine, I need to maybe try to do more research and look up different artists in my genre, also I might also need to ask people outside of my class to do my questionnaire to get a different view on my magazine.
In order to do these things, I need to maybe ask around for people I know other than school to fill out my questionnaire to get more results to base my magazine around.
To catch up with everyone else (due to missing posts and work) I shall look at other peoples blogs to get ideas on how to complete my work.
