Defamation Is The 1996 Act Which Intends To Protect An Individual Against Unfair Attacks Made Against Them By A Magazine/Newspaper.

Libel Means To Publish In Print (Including Pictures), Writing Or Broadcast A Lie About An Individual Which Will Do Harm To That Individual's Reputation By Mentioning Hatred/Ridicule ETC.

Slander Is Verbal Defamation, In Which Someone Tells One Or More People An Untruth About Another Which Will Harm The Reputation Of The Person Insulted.

Copyright Stops The Redistribution Of Work Which Enables Publishers To Make Profit From The Materials They Produce, There Is No Official Registration For Materials To Be Copyrighted. The Law Was Put Forward In 1911, And Enables Materials To Be Copyrighted For A Certain Length Of Time - E.G.

 - Film - 70 Years
 - Written - 25 Years
