- When public speaking, what is it important to remember to do?
- Speak slowly and loudly to make sure you don't jumble up your words.
- Make sure you actually know what you're talking about, back up statements with facts.
- Make notes to read from (IF NEEDED), not a proper script but little notes to remember what to say so you don't pause.
- Make sure you have had practise with your presentation and you know the running order off by heart.
- Act confident.
2. If a publisher was listening to your pitch, what would they want to know about your project?
- What they get out of your product, do they make a profit?
- They want to know that you actually understand what you are talking about.
- Mention upcoming plans/future ideas.
- How much you are willing to spend on running the project.
- Your research on what people want.
- Passionate about what you want.

Well done in this submission of your audio presentation. I will now (as I have with the rest of the class) ask you some questions about your project which I will expect you to answer in as much detail as possible under this comment so it is visable. You will be assessed on how you respond in the best way you can. Please provide at least 1 paragraph.
ReplyDeleteIf you had the chance to interview a real life music star for this magazine, who would you choose and why?
Marina & The Diamonds -
ReplyDeleteI would personally love to interview this artist because she is my personal idol, and an added bonus, she suits my genre.
She seems like a really interesting person, there may be more interesting people than her, but first off meeting her would make me so happy let alone getting an interview with her!
As my artist was actually based on this artist, interviewing her would really help me as I could learn more about how she acts and what a kind of person she is.
What questions would you ask her/them and why? What approach would your readers want you to take?
