- Time - Do a monthly calendar stating what needs to be done and when by, therefore you have everything done by the final deadline ready for printing.
- Personnel - Your personnel are the people who work for you e.g. journalists, writers, photographers, editors, publishers & proof readers.
- Facilities - The resources you use e.g. pre-production equipment, production equipment (cameras, computers, photo studios) & post production equipment.
- Materials - The stuff you use to make the magazine, e.g. paper, ink & cutting equipment.
- Contributors - The people in your magazine e.g. artists and bands.
- Locations - Places you visit for your articles/photoshoots e.g. live gigs/concerts & photo studios or outside locations.
- Codes of Practise/Regulations - Basically all the legal stuff e.g. location permissions, copyrighting, press complaints commission & public liability insurance.
- Planning - Finally, all the ideas you have in order to make your magazine e.g. title name, colour scheme, genre & artists featured.
